1 large (1 = 85 g) carrot
1/4 cup (1/4 cup = 42 g) edamame beans
1/4 cup (1/4 cup = 40 g) red pepper
a few pinches black sesame seeds

This Asian pasta salad has a very interesting punch to it with homemade Wafu sauce! You can make it in advance and make your coworkers jealous at lunchtime! I like to use vermicelli because they are delicate and they cook quickly.

Cook pasta according to package instructions.

While cooking pasta, prepare the recipe for homemade Wafu sauce. Click on the ingredient to see the recipe.

Peel the carrot and clean the red pepper. Slice them into julienne strips (thin slices).

Drain pasta after cooking.
Incorporate edamame beans into pasta. If frozen, it will thaw on contact with hot pasta.
Allow the pasta to cool.

Chop the cashews with a knife.

Add Wafu sauce, peppers, carrots to vermicelli and edamame mixture. Mix gently.

Garnish with black sesame seeds and cashews. Makes 2 moderate servings.
