I’m not the biggest fan of protein powders. I like to get as much “real food” as I can. This high-protein chocolate milk for breakfast contains 18 grams of protein and no added supplement. And as a bonus, the 2-cup serving is generous and will support you all morning.
The magic bullet (small robot mixer practical) does the job very well.
The key ingredients of this high-protein chocolate milk
Natural Greek yogurt 0% is diluted to make the milk. Than we add flavour to it with banana, cocoa, peanut butter powder and maple flakes. Peanut butter powder can definitely be swapped for natural peanut butter, but the caloric impact will be a little higher (1.5 tablespoons of powder = 3.8 g of protein and 35 calories vs. 1 tablespoon of natural peanut butter = 3.5 g of protein and 105 calories).
It’s all in the straw
Drinking, eating, enjoying: it’s an experience! My daughter is an example of this, because she spends her time placing her food, choosing her straw, her favorite utensil or any other gadget with which she will eat while having fun. Make this high-protein chocolate milk a healthy habit and a fun meal with reusable stainless steel straws! No more disposable straws.
