Ingredients

Adjust Servings:
2 slices (2 slices = 50 g) smoked salmon
2 sheets romaine lettuce
1/4 sheet nori leaf (maki seaweed)
10 shoestrings (10 shoestrings = 30 g) lebanese cucumber
4 slices (4 slices = 30 g) avocado
a few very thin strips red onion
1 tbsp (1 tbsp = 15 ml) light mayonnaise Click on the ingredient to see more info
1/2 tsp (1/2 tsp = 2.5 ml) sriracha sauce
a few pinches black sesame seeds

Do you love sushi? Poke bowls? Here is a simple and light version to find those Asian flavors you love so much, in just a few minutes: the rice-free lettuce sushiwrap! Avoiding cooking rice makes this recipe super quick to make.

The recipe is nutritious and high protein while being very low in calories.

Steps

Gently remove 2 large roman leaves from the heart of Roman. Rinse and dry gently.

Combine mayonnaise and sriracha sauce. Put aside.

Peel the red onion. Slice a few very thin slices.
Slice the cucumber into shoestrings.
Peel and slice the avocado.
Put aside.

Place one Roman leaf in the other to form a double layer.

Cut the nori seaweed leaf into 4. Insert one of the quarter seaweed sheet in the center of the Roman leaves.

Brush the bottom of the seaweed leaf with half the spicy mayonnaise.

Garnish with smoked salmon, cucumber and red onion.
Add remaining spicy mayonnaise.

Sprinkle with black sesame seeds and enjoy fresh.
