This cold mocha oatmeal starts the day so well! The famous overnight oats have been very popular these past years. And for a good reason! Here is my mocha version. A satisfying and nutritious morning delight… that tastes like dessert!
The idea is to soak the oatmeal overnight to enjoy cold or room temperature in the morning. It is therefore necessary to allow at least 4 hours of soaking in the refrigerator. No cooking required.
Camping? Why not!
If you’re making this while camping, soak the oats in the cooler and bingo!
Decaf? Gluten free?
Yes to both. Choose a decaffeinated coffee if you prefer. Don’t have an espresso machine? A very strong coffee will do! And if you have a gluten-free diet, it’s important to make sure your oatmeal is certified gluten-free.
