Most of us love oats right? Have you tried overnight oats? Great concept. You soak some oats, add flavour and let it sit in the refrigerator overnight. In the morning, you get to devour a creamy preparation…without any baking! Here is my banana, peanut butter and chocolate overnight oats recipe. I like to find new ways of making overnight oats delicious while reducing the sugar. Fruits and maple flakes make the magic happen.
It all has to do with preparation.
I like to make this recipe directly in a glass jar. It’s pretty and convenient when you want to bring it at work. Have fun trying new toppings! This overnight oats can be topped with:
- Banana slices
- Cocao nibs
- Chocolate chips
- Roasted peanuts
- Melted peanut butter, etc.
Powdered peanut butter
Do you know PB2? It’s powdered peanut butter! You can use the powder in recipes like muffins, cakes and cookies or dilute it and spread it like regular peanut butter. It has a nice roasted and natural taste to it. Tastes very good and quite interesting calorie-wise. 25 calories per tablespoon!
Gluten Free Overnight Oats
You can make this recipe Gluten Free by using the right oats. If you use toppings, make sure they are Gluten Free as well.
