Ingredients

Adjust Servings:
1/2 cup (1/2 cup = 125 ml) tomato and basil sauce
2 handfuls spinach
1/2 package (1/2 package = 115 g) veggie pâté brand of choice or click to see the recipe
2 tbsp (2 tbsp = 30 ml) Vegan Ricotta R and G

A comforting vegan bowl that everyone will love! Ready in 10 minutes if the fauxmage is already prepared, 15 if you make the vegan ricotta recipe at the same time!

Many of my favorite recipes were created accidentally! You will notice it is the case with this vegan meatballs and cheeseballs recipe: you will get an incredible bowl in minutes. If you use my homemade vegan ricotta recipe, then allow a little more time, but then again, it’s super simple to make.

Quality commercial products exist

I say yes to some commercial products. Especially when it comes to local products. Just read the ingredient list and nutrition sheets to make sure you’re eating an interesting and healthy product. You’ll get used to it! This recipe features Fontaine Santé’s végé-paté. I always have some in the fridge!

Place the spinach bed in a microwave-safe bowl. I use fresh spinach.

Pour tomato and basil sauce over the spinach.

With your hands, form 6 cm balls of paté.

With your hands, form mini vegan ricotta balls about 2 centimetres in diameter.

Place the balls on the sauce.

Microwave

Heat in the microwave for 2 minutes. Make sure the balls and the sauce are hot and the spinach has soften.

Oven

Then place the bowl on the top rack in the oven and broil. Bake for 2 to 3 minutes or until balls are golden brown. Enjoy!
