Nutritional yeast
You will need nutritional yeast to make this recipe. It is easy to find in supermarkets, usually in the organic section. It is also sold in specialty organic grocery stores. These are yellowish flakes, nothing to do with the yeast that swells. They give a cheesy taste reminiscent of Parmesan cheese. This ingredient is a must have in vegan cuisine. Discover the fact sheet on nutritional yeast here.
Tamari almonds
Almonds roasted in tamari are sold online and in most supermarkets. If you don’t have any, dip plain almonds in soy sauce and roast them in the oven.
